WHAT'S THE GAMEPLAY LIKE?

Players draw villains and monsters of varying strengths, discarding them in quick skirmishes. When a battle is declared, players duke it out with their most powerful bad guys! The victor captures an Aquabat and the first to 5 wins! But it isn't that easy... action cards interrupt the best-laid plans with shrinking, stealing and reversing abilities!

We designed THE AQUABATS! SUPER SHOWDOWN! with an eye for quick, exciting gameplay and fun for all ages. Plus, it's infinitely expandable - we already have great ideas for future action and character cards that will add new dimensions to the base game!

IS THIS A KIDS' GAME?

Not necessarily. We think kids will like it, but mostly we just wanted to make a fun game that as many people as possible would enjoy! We know lots of kids love The Aquabats, so we're including a simpler rule set for ages 5-7.
