About Ricky Falomir
In his early 20s, Falomir became an original member of the Riverside punk rock band Assorted Jelly Beans. The group developed a loyal following in Southern California, and in 1996 became the first release on the Kung Fu Records label with their self-titled debut album. While the group disbanded in 1999, they reunited nearly a decade later and continue to play periodically around Southern California.
Along with several other members of The Aquabats, Faolmir contributed to the children's television series Yo Gabba Gabba! Which was co-created by the band's frontman Christian Jacobs (aka the MC Bat Commander). Over the show's 4-season run, Falomir composed and arranged for the music-heavy series and made several on-screen appearances, both as costumed monsters and in his Ricky Fitness persona. From 2012 to 2014, Falomir also portrayed Ricky Fitness in The Aquabats' cable television series The Aquabats! Super Show!, where he also served as a composer for the series.
Outside of his duties as a member of The Aquabats, Falomir briefly served as a touring drummer for the Los Angeles reggae group The Aggrolites in 2009. In June 2014, he played drums for C. J. Ramone on an East Coast US tour alongside fellow Aquabats guitarist Ian Fowles.
